Day 161 Life is Meant to Be Amazing - I wasn't always ready to hear that.

Day 161 of 182

Tuesday 14th July

Yesterday I received a message from someone saying how inspiring this was considering how simple the rules seemed to be, and it’s true they have been so simple.

Bringing these happiness and feel good triggers into my life has led to phenomenal changes, the levels of happiness and love for my life and all that is in it are beyond anything I even imagined possible and it’s all been much less complicated than I ever would have thought.

As for external goals and ambitions – they are all coming true too but I am so glad that I experienced the changes on the inside first because now I know that true happiness cannot be bought, it cannot come from possessions and that the only thing required to bring it into your life is you, a desire for change and now.

I am so excited about my book and each day I work on it more my excitement increases- Jack canfield says "if the book you want to read isn't written then write it" and I know from all the messages that people send me this book needs to be written.

I remember reading before when I was in a very different place that “life is meant to be amazing” at the time I didn’t want to hear that, I didn’t want to accept the fact that I had responsibility of creating my own life, I wanted to be the victim to the cards life had dealt me.

But every moment is an opportunity to deal your own cards, to let go of guilt, anger, blame and self- pity and embrace the fact that this moment belongs to you and although you cannot control other people or situations the biggest power of all is yours and that is to control and choose how you are going to feel.

If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it and this you have the power to revoke at any moment.”
